(for those that don't realize they have them)

There are things we want but can never have.
I'm not talking about expensive beach houses or luxury cars.
I'm talking about things like time, opportunities or people.
Things that come to most but are never equal.
One may end up in Hollywood the other on a show that's local.
Another may reach eighty another may not leave long enough for a photo.
We all get our portion big or small.
But some don't live long enough to enjoy them all.
Time our best gift and asset.
Whether spent wisely or not cannot be reset.
From the very first breath.
it's start's ticking down to our death.
Sadly nobody knows how long they have on earth.
We just live until we draw our last breath.
Opportunity is next in line
Whether made or given it's something we cannot decline.
Some are good some are bad.
Some leave you crying others glad .
Thus it's crucial to check the opportunity at hand.
People the last on the list.
You'd think it's easy to have them but truly it isn't.
Like time those ahead cannot rewind.
Neither can we reclaim those lost to the ground.
Like opportunity they, are either good or bad.
But their nature plays a role that's grand.
These things come and go.
So it's your choice to make the best of them all.
