I may have an inch or two
except if we count when we were two.
Maybe even eight,
but those two didn't date.

But we're them or maybe they're us.
Either way they didn't fuss.

So sometimes they might say hello, because they still reside down low,
but they never knew this love, and one day they will grow, them two
And I'll still have an inch or two.
