yellow-spreading
gray-purple clouds
meet the faint smoke flowing
from the chimney
like a watercolor painting of daffodils
At dusk
a bird's wings
raise the wind
entering the gates of night
A light preparing
for dinner
paints the old windows
and comes out
comforting the withered flowers
in the garden.
