Scorning the essence of Autumn
a cold bruise of a pale shadow
excommunicated by landlords
of nature's beanery, weeping,
in the feral moonlight
with no time for the Wisteria
undisturbed in poetic words
and the habitat of the bees
now sleeping with narcissists
