Time is dripping between my thin fingers
And i as i try to rub it throughout my palms
it only dries itself quicker
While i lose the time i wish to hold on to.
Just a few more hours, i beg
So i can take it in without my engines working overtime
To understand things that aren’t meant to be acknowledged.
Please pause the time at 9pm
So i can feel the night
Before my day comes to an end.
I only have 3 hours to breathe
Before the days start to blend.
