“Did you see her son,
Is she okay?”
“Did you see her son,
What did she say?”

“I don’t know mom”
That’s what I say
“I didn’t see her mom”
That’s what I say

But I lie to you mom
Like I always do
I always see her mom
But I don’t say

I lost her mom
I don’t want to admit
She isn’t mine
We got lost to time

Her blonde hair
Her green eyes
Her nice smile
Was once called mine

But something happened
Something changed
She was no longer mine
Everything changed

I still see her
I still say hi
But whatever I do
She wont be mine

“Did you see her son?”
You always ask
“No mom
I didn’t”
I always say
And again
I lie
