You’ve changed a lot they say.
So different from before.
Older and more mature,
More responsible than before.
Wiser, kinder,
More considerate and taller.
So, so different they say.

They've changed too.
Still the same but not.
Happier still,
But with tight smiles,
Hiding something—What?
I do not know...

So, so different,
Then the eight-year-old you knew.
We're different now Sir,
Different now Ms.
We've changed.
For the good or bad...
Who knows?

All I know is that...
A lot changed us.
New experiences,
New people.
Of course, we changed.
But was it that obvious?
