Love backwards
The back of the tapestry, ugly as sin
The question I ask, when did it begin
Lying and cheating have woven a mess
The sins we  carried and didn't confess
If I wasn't the one, Why not just say so
I love you, and would of let you go
The tapestry hangs our story of life
Woven of sin , Husband and wife
I hope to see the other side
A beautiful  picture that can't be denied
God is an artist we can't understand
But pain and confusion don't come from his hand
We pick the colors, the pattern the thread
He weaves a masterpiece before we are dead
He taught you to love me before the end
The tapestry  a picture of me and a friend
Love moves forward, but is understood backwards
