I am no Don Quixote, but I will chase what is wild,
With dreams too big, and a heart like a child.
To dream beyond reason, to seek what is denied,
To fix what is broken, and never run and hide.

The world may laugh, say I am out of my mind,
But I shall keep pushing forward, leaving doubt behind.
I do not have the answers, I am stumbling through,
But kindness is my armor, and humor gets me through.

The impossible dream fuels the fire in my chest,
Even when the world says I am not the best.
I will fall, I will rise, but I shall never hide,
For joy and strength are something I cannot hide.

It is a promise to myself, a piece of my soul,
To chase the dream, to make me whole.
For the impossible dream is not where I land...
It is in the courage to rise and take a stand.
