A lonely night
With moonlight so bright
Hide and seek with a bat
Tears fall from the maidens cheeks so flat

Was the moonlight trying to embrace her
Or was it too like many others trying to abandon her
As feelings overflow from her heart
Turning into tears in her eyes

As she took the blame for things never done
As she took the responsibility of situation that was never hers
As she wished she could die

Just like that forgotten youth
Which was growing out of its life
