They see a sturdy foundation
Maybe some chips
But still standing
Standing strong

They don't see
The cracks
The growing cracks
They don't see the stone is cracking

Cracking like eggshells
The stone is cracking
Holding on for now
But the Stone is cracking

You can't see
How the stone is cracking
Can't feel the foundation wobbling and crumbling
Can't feel it shaking

They can't hear the
Crack crack crack
Crack crack crack
They can't hear the stone going crack crack crack

They don't realize
But the stone is cracking
The stone is cracking
The stone is cracking, cracking

One day it'll be clear
That the stone is cracking
They'll be aware
That the stone is cracking

When they feel the shifts
And see the crumbling
When it's finally on display
That the stone is cracking

The stone is cracking
The stone is cracking
It's cracking
It's cracking

Crack
Crack crack crack
Crack crack crack
Crack crack crack crack

The stone
The stone
It's cracking
Cracking

One day it'll fall
Fall apart
Crack crack crack
The stone is cracking
