Farewell of the loving hands
They drift away in slow motion
You watch them go
Farewell on the platform in the moonlight

In your mind the sun is shining
On the horizon furious gangs rage
Who have lost everything
Who take everything from everyone

The loving hands disappear
Was it just a memory?
A dream on the avenue?
As you floated past walls

Carried by loving hands
Between graffiti-covered old buildings
Whispering of other times
In the fresh scent of a spring morning

Arrival of the loving hands
Slowly they return
You feel them on your skin
In the springtime shade of the avenue
Farewell Of The Loving Hands
