I couldn't even feel
              the breeze
until you went inside

You keep me warm,
       keep me secure
          like a blanket
on a cold winters night

The breeze chilled me--
it assaulted my
             arms,

I never even felt it
ten seconds
before

and maybe I'm crazy
for attributing the cold
to you,
but everything changed
and the only
independent variable
was
      you.
