What was never there can never be found
What never was can never be.
Let the discordant hollow silence resound.
And be lulled into false sense of harmony.

Voids within and veiled imagination
But in this, no, not naive.
Not taken by presented illusion
Perceived success in trying to deceive.

A windowless room obscures the darkness
In which fathomless depths of affliction lie.
Still waters run deeper hunting the helpless
That in said charm’s captivity die.

No light can reach a windowless room
Nor can bright things inside it bloom

Within a heart of darkness dwells
Just insensitivity. And a disconnected emotion.
