Carved from stone yet trembling still,
your breathless touch, my heart does fill.
No voice to speak, yet hear me sigh,
as in your arms, I long to die.

Oh, sculpted fate, cruel yet divine,
forever bound, yet never mine.
Your marble cheek, so cold, so fair,
I press my soul, my love laid bare.

Time may steal the softest skin,
but love endures, it burns within.
Though set in stone, my heart will yearn,
forever yours, though none return.
