All these lonely nights, I lay awake in zen,

A couple to my left, another twice past them,

As I lay in silent wonder,

I ask my self,  "where is my other? "

I am not a perfect man,

Capable of love? believe I am,

So many times I shouldn't have run,

I told my self I needed to have fun,

You only live once you know,

And as time fades you seem to grow,

More aware of how things are,

All that fun , now twice as far,

From finding that one special companion,

Most likely end up alone and abandoned,

Only you can change your ways,

Don't let your self drift to a haze.
