Thieves In The Night Of Lies
Thieves in the night of lies
White lies love lies
There was a blaze in the day
We die in the sun
Astronauts have disappeared
Like 13-year-olds from ghettos
Mute owls wave from fences
Fire wheels line vast roads
In our tears birth slumbers
Ancient dreams of salt and greed
Blue tongues hiss in the spray
Among the men of foam
There is no fear in love
Though wide-open eyes
Suggest the opposite
***** it! Wholecars! Prank buzzing!
The Holy ****** is a child of the night
The red shores swim in memories
No one bears guilt
Dazzling white shirts; shark collars
Forever drawn to the horizon
Vanished
In their place came wild apes
Screaming, bleeding, countless packs
Under a sky of green butterflies
White lies
The apes sweep across the land
Forever drawn to the horizon
Thieves In The Night Of Lies
