She doesn't want me.
I'm nothing but only one-bit memory.
Like another ending in a typical, boring story
The bird will finally leave the flimsy tree.
.
And it's killing me, like cuts of a knife
To see her go, a glimpse of a life.
What can I do? I couldn't hold her tight
She did put on a show; I'm sure she'll be alright.

But oh god, what a life it is to have!
My heart was strong, but you shattered it in half.
.
As the dark creeps in, engulfing that deep scene:
I was copying your breathing; the bed was squeaking.
That crazy silent night, your warmth keeping me sane.
There was no light, no nothing, just us holding hands.

And oh god, I got to taste your lips
You made my heart skip
And melted my fluttering jaws
That's what I saw! But now you're leaving.
.
