The Woman’s Role
To serve a man’s will,
To give into his control,
To not be still,
To master her role.
She proves her love.
She gives up her dreams.
Harmless as a dove,
Holding flooding streams.
The one who continues
The man’s name.
Generations in her womb,
Her value isn’t the same,
She’s special till her tomb.
Sacrifices her life,
Works to the core.
Labeled as a wife,
No time to restore.
