Forgiveness
I cry, I scream, I bleed in vain,
In pain that echoes, calls her name.
She doesn’t care, she turns away,
A fleeting thought, a shadow’s sway.
I beg for her to see my scars,
But she flatters away, beyond the stars.
I want to forgive, to let it go,
But she never asks, she’ll never know.
And in the silence, I break once more,
Chasing a love that she’s closed the door.
