Goddess Saraswati, you Goddess of knowledge,
It's great that you came to earth with knowledge.

Various diseases were prevalent everywhere,
People overwhelmed by poverty all over.

Thieves and robbers were rampant,
Might was right regime omnipresent.

Terrible violence was being done to women.
poor were weak because of subjection.

Man behaves like wild animal,
His nature becomes very cruel.

He was adept at doing anything for selfish reasons,
A veil of ignorance was over his eyes.

He was self-blessed with several matrimony,
Women consider it as personal property.

Despite polygamy not satisfied,
Keep other woman's desire in mind.

when Goddess Saraswati came on soil
blessed the great knowledge to all.

What a miracle Goddess Sarasvati did,
Heaven created on the earth indeed.
