I always thought it be
The two of us,
Me and you,
Sitting along the golden river,
Looking into each others eyes,
Knowing that we would
Never separate from this moment,
As the suns rays shined
Upon our souls,
As we both laid on the
Wet, wet grass,
Soaking our clothing,
For we would keep each other warm,
And never let each other go.

We would trust one another
To keep each other safe
And warm,
Promising one another
That we would never dare
To hurt each other.

But instead, reality overshadowed
My dreams,
And the nightmare I was
Afraid of awoke me,
With a thundering roar,
Slapping me so hard
With an exhausting rush,
A suffocating curse
That shattered my
Perfectly assembled heart.

I always thoughts it would
Be the two of us,
Sharing our first kiss,
Imprinting our souls
On each other,
Loving one another
For eternity.

But reality overshadowed
My dreams,
And the nightmare
I was afraid of
Came true,
Laughing in my face,
Scaring my heart for good,
As I try so hard
To re assemble my
Broken parts
That fell into the hurricane
You built.
