Butterfly blue

Too good to be true, Butterfly blue, Are you? I watched you fly through, From inside my own cocoon, Not yet ready to bloom, But I hope to see you soon. Butterfly blue, I’ve been dreaming of you, A mystery to pursue, Hardly met, yet I already knew. She quickly saw through, My thick, anxious cocoon, Patiently waiting & encouraging my bloom, Smiling at tomorrow, knowing I’ll see her soon.
