We've fought before
but nothing like this
your actions hurt me
but so did your fists

You'd never really touch me
but that shows me you could
now ask yourself this
in a mind state like that, does it make you think you should?

That's not what hurt the worst
it was your words that cut like daggers
for the first time in my life
made me feel like our relationship don't matter

How do we move on from here?
It's been hard to look at you the same
talking to other people
I can't even say your name

I'm not saying it will be easy
but we will get back to normal
one day we'll look back and with a laugh
we'll just say it was hormonal
