Like life before instant gravy
I couldn't think of existence without you
Our meat juices comingled
Such a sweet and salty stew
But then the sauce had all dried up
Nevermore to play the love sick pup
Forgot the golden rule
Didn't give
Deffo on the take
So now I watch you
From a distance
Like a cartoon bulldog
Looks at
An uncooked steak.
