In winter's grasp, where snowflakes sway
A lone flame flickers, night and day
The last ember, in a world gone grey
A beacon bright, in a frozen way

No spark remains, to rekindle might
No flame can rise, in the endless night
The world is cold, and darkness clings
Yet this one fire, still warmly sings

In the silence, it crackles and spits
A defiant blaze, that refuses to quit
A symbol of hope, in a desolate land
A burning reminder, of a warmth that once was grand

No human hand, can rekindle the flame
No mortal spark, can bring back the warmth and the light again
This fire stands alone, in the frozen vast
A solitary sentinel, of a warmth that will forever last.

But then I see, a fire that's divine
A flame that burns, with a love so truly mine
It's the fire of salvation, that burns bright and true
A flame that's lit, by the love of Jesus, shining through.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

This fire of salvation, it burns deep inside
A flame that guides me, through the darkest night
It's the love of Jesus, that sets my soul on fire
A burning passion, that never fades or tires.
