Mirror Mirror
Trembling,
the gun thats gripped in my hand
begs to be put down
Like the person its aimed towards
My gaze shifts from the metal,
to the pair of wide eyes ahead
Focus disturbed, she rips it away
A scream erupts from my throat
She fires
A bullet escapes eagerly
hoping to find my skin
and pierce my sinful soul
Instead, glass explodes into pieces,
ammo clangs to the floor
I'm left staring at the blank wall,
my reflection nowhere to be found
