My lungs filled with relief
as I sink deep within my seat,
comfort surrounds me
as my heart skips a beat

A deep breath in
now leads to a a slow exhale,
within a blink of an eye
all my worries start to fail.

Tension drains from my body
a ship sinking into the sea
as I smoke with my close friends
sharing stories, laughter and empathy?
Is how my life should be.
