Now That You’re Gone
living like an elder being
tired, empty
an invisible hand guides me
to what society expects
but with you
i felt like i could bring myself to joy
be myself
i made you back away from us
and i miss you
as much as i hate to
and as much as i refuse to
after all
i’m the one that forced you to
