Us kind of people my love
Are meant for this world
This life
Meant for every push, welcoming every shove

Tragedy befalls the beautiful or the detested
In the eyes of its maker
True grace
The mercy of a life that could never be bested

What other life could suit our sweet designs?
Grapple our love and hatred, its sorrow
And leave us with nostalgia in its wake
My love, we were meant to dance outside the box, to follow the colored lines
