The sky wakes, mirroring my movements
I cannot escape the clouds
Nor the ones around
My face leaves traces on the path
Though I will have the final laugh
Trample my footprints
In the dust left
And know I left the mines

Take the amethyst
I kept underneath the pillow
Where I wept
Keep it in your music box
The one decaying
And play a song
It will help pass the time

Burn my clothes and bed
Tell them I’m dead
And let me escape fate
Hang onto the amethyst’s glow
And soon I’ll bring you with me
My Romeo
