Gingerly
the morning walk
mindful glances
alone we talk
crushing leaves
beneath our feet
ambience
from last night
& now the day before
the stillness keeps
captured here
With
promises beside
an open door
closely following
You
between the trees
down the path
& going wherever
We please
Our hopes
Ours dreams
&
crossed over
fingertips
touching You
Soft warm lips
Washing your toes
at our favorite stream
Listening
understanding
& knowing what it
explicitly means.
We connected
limbs intertwined
telling the tale
& letting go
deciding for myself
Your the One...
So,
we'll take it slow
