Sitting in the dark to find some reticence
The silence that I sought has become my sustenance
Keeping me afloat as I drift through my mind
As I try to find my way out of this maze I designed

Getting lost in thought is its own kind of pain
You always lie to yourself that it won't happen again
But sooner or later, it catches up to you
Until you're left with nothing else to do
