Poems
4d
A gentle throne
Upon the quilted sea of white,
A regal form reclines in light.
With fur of silver, soft and sleek,
In restful pose, no words to speak.
The pillow blooms in hues of blue,
A gardenβs dream in every hue.
Beneath the calm of dappled shade,
A sovereignβs bed is gently laid.
Eyes half-closed, a tranquil stare,
A moment free from worldly care.
This quiet king, in his domain,
Knows only peace, devoid of strain.
Oh, feline lord of afternoon,
Your slumber hums a timeless tune.
A whispered song of still repose,
Where time dissolves, and comfort grows.
This poem is inspired by a cat sleeping on a pillow
