You.
I, my love, cannot wait for you.
Just like the sun cannot wait for you to be ready to wake in order to rise.
I am a woman worth experiencing.
Regardless of the baggage I carry.
And I cannot wait for you to decide if you want to experience that.
Nor can I beg you to experience the kind of love that fills me.
Or the love that I use to fill others.
I cannot beg you to see how I carry the weight that can crush colonies on my pinkie like a feather.
Gracefully.
I cannot beg you to see the potential in me.
I cannot beg you to see that throughout the chaos I am the peace.
I cannot beg you to see how I move mountains with the decisions I make.
Or how I move hearts with the sound of my voice.
I cannot beg you to see the talent or the god complex in me.
I cannot beg you to see the light that lives in me.
I am a spiritual woman.
I listen to my intuition sing to me at night and contemplate my next decisions while I wait for the sun that never waits for me to rise.
Nurturing me while I nuture the broken whether it leaves me waiting to refill.
So I cannot wait for your decision.
Just like you cannot beg me to wait…
Because I am not “her”.
I am me. Unapologetically me.
In my most authentic form.
And so I will yearn for the remembrance of you as I set you free because though I validate the existence of boundaries and your PTSD.
I simply cannot wait for you to validate and honor the existence of me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read into my mind.
