Empire of Dreams
In twilight skies where shadows gleam,
A drift into waking dream.
A world where silver river flows,
And flower bloom in midnight glow.
The mountain hum with ancient lore,
While dragons sleep on crystal shores.
The trees, they whisper soft and slow,
of places mortal never go.
A city floats in cloud above,
Where stars are spun like web of love.
Each tower made of light and air
A kingdom built from whispered prayer.
Beneath the moon's eternal gaze,
Time bends and wraps, an endless
maze.
The rulers of earth no longer bind,
In this strange world inside my mind.
With wings of thought, i soar and dive,
I realms where endless wonders thrive.
A universe of dreams untold,
Where fantasy and truth unfold.
Inspired by the enchanting world of "the cruel prince" by holly black
