And yet again I was a lone tree standing with all the other’s eyes on me When will the day be when somebody finally follows Maybe it’ll be tomorrow
Summer left then Fall came The other’s leaves fell from their frames But I who rendered lonely, My leaves stayed loyal
Fall left then Winter came All I could feel was the coldness of Maine Snow fell on those without amnesty But I stayed composed with beauty
Winter left then Spring came Flowers surround my way While the others are growing back their jewelry, I stay the same already filled with perspicuity
A full loop and no one ever followed Not even with the promise of tomorrow But the feeling of loneliness never bothered me For I remain beautiful, while the others decay periodically
