Looking up I see snowflakes
Simultaneously a snowflake drifted into my glossy eye
You looked over and laughed
And so did I
Although I may have been laughing for different reasons
For the nerves taking over my body
Or the butterflies fluttering from head to toe
Of embarrassment from the snowflakes run - in with my eye
Either way you took my hand
I liked it, even though interlocking hands with you was only making my hand more frozen than before
Then I thought
If my hand was frozen in one place, there is no place id rather have it be than in yours
So I squeezed tighter
I looked at you and smiled
Thats all we needed to communicate
A simple smile
Our bright red noses
Two hands equally cold
Warmed by the firey connection that we share
Snowflakes falling into our hair
I shiver a little
You escort me to the passenger door of your car and we go for a ride
My favorite thing to do
