Sitting on the curb
Tears falling harder than the rain
I watch cars go by
Wishing I was in front of one
Waiting..
Feeling..
Hurting..
I can no longer take the wait
Drowning in this darkness
I look for hope
Finding nothing
I am alone
Alone..
This feeling hurts the most
Knowing this pain can fade..
Death..
Yes..
Death would be a sweet relief
When will this nightmare end?
Unable to stand I crawl into the street
Waiting once more..
Waiting for this agony to end
Waiting for my pain and suffering to cease
Waiting for death...
A car approaches me
The last tear falls
The car hits me as the tear meets the ground
I awaken
Next to you
I no longer feel the need to cry
My tears have dried
For it was only a nightmare
  Brought back to reality
I am once more in my dream
Moonlight shining on us as the sky brightens with stars
My dream...with you.
No more tears. For the last tear is behind me now.
