“This is not medically necessary for you”
Say insurance men when the bills come due.
My physician and I might disagree,
Will that even matter? I guess we’ll see.
This is the land of milk and honey,
Get what you need, if you have the money,
That’s the long story short, get ready to fight
If it cuts into profits, we’ll know what’s right.  
As for you, well, have you tried prayer?
That’s much easier than expecting us to care.
Just turn your eyes up to the man in the sky,
Hey, if we’re wrong, it’s no loss, you just die.
I wrote this one in 2020 when I was fighting with insurance over treatments related to a heart condition they thought I was too young to have. Feels very relevant four years later
