She couldnt keep herself together
She could only sit and think
He said "a penny for your thoughts
I bet it will make you feel better"

She doesnt believe that but still she reveals
She opens her mouth and it all spills
On and on she goes, never ending
If he was serious she would have a lot of money
She wasnt really wealthy

She always pondered on success
she never wanted a life of stress
just wanted to sit pretty in a dress
feel an eternal bliss

She never wanted problems
She doesnt know how to solve them
To get rid of them she'd pay a heavy ransom
She just felt like it was killing her
Like she was forced to take in a venom

She always questioned love
and what there was above
the flight paths of doves
Why she sweats in gloves

Shes curious
but he was right shes no more furious
she thanks him wanting to give him a hug
there was no one there
only her and a teddy bear
