Every day when I wake up I
exchange any hope I have for
Air to keep me breathing
and oxygen to get me seeing
Things that may or may not be there
Because in reality we can't
Comprehend what we observe so
we simplify and rationalize everything
to a point where There is No Point
In going to our dull unfulfilling
office jobs, because who really cares
what quantity and type of paper you want
what about a
purpose behind life,
what about the
void in our Soul
Iā€™m not interested in what he said, she said
Iā€™m not interested in the newest celebrity news,
I want to find hope but every morning I exchange
It for air to keep me
alive
