Lips intertwined
on a cold day.
Your sweater, once on me,
now clings to her.
I knew you lied
but your eyes,
those deep eyes,
told a story I wish I'd never read.

Your gaze, now lifeless,
once held the love I saw,
a spark that lit your smile
gone.
Leaving me to question
the mirror staring back.
