Several months ago
I met a good friend
We can talk about this and that
about political and personality
We eat once a month
together
He was going to be a doctor
but he gave up it and
to help the elderly
he has made up his mind
One day I asked him
official or administrative documents
application forms to read something like them
isn't it hard?
He answered
“I can read that stuff all night long
I'd rather read a product manual
than the product itself”
I answered
“I'm happy to spend all night
reading a masterpiece,
but I'm not happy to read
documents and user manuals
I can't even read a single page"
Even while eating
answer for complaints and demands
of old man
no time to look at me
“turn off your cell phone, even during mealtime"
“No, I can't, I'd be a doctor if I did.”
We finished
in the late fall sunshine
I vow to myself
for my precious friend
"I should write a short poem".
