You can’t take it from me, it’s mine.
Or weaken my faith in the divine.

Take my hand.
Take me home.
Blessed me from the start, I need you today.
But please don’t tell me to keep my head up and pray for a miracle.
I need a miracle.
I need it today.

You can’t take it from me, it’s mine.
You can’t tell me I’m wasting my time.
Or weaken my faith in something otherworldly.
It’s a new addition to myself.
I’ve been living off of faith.

So take my hand.
Take me to safety.
Bless me every morning, I need you all the time.
But please don’t tell me to bow down any harder and put on constraints.
I don’t need your help.
I’m living on my faith.
