Dear my poet
I admire all your work
And I feel you don't know it
I'd like to be a part of your work
And I feel you should know it

Dear my poet
You make all the adrenaline rush
Every time you recite
Now I feel like some mush
Stuck in your site

Dear my poet
Won't you teach me a few lines
Educate me a little
I'd write about the mines
In which the soil was brittle

Dear my poet
Cant you see
Your work is the best
As calm as the sea
As messy as a bird's nest

Dear my poet
Please just say something
Something totally out of the blue
You can say anything
Something that'll make my heart bloom
To the poet that gave me life
