Lost Heart

by @Mooncatcher

Is everything okay tonight When Love and hate can’t see eye to eye so right And she cries out for love And in the stillness of time Where nothing seems fine The shadows play on her mind And then Whispers of forgotten dreams play Like some old memory machine And the call of a lost heart echoes Inside Desperation holds tight and beneath the dull evening light Her tears sting like never before And then Her hand now reaches out to the call of the wild shout And memories fade into the grey night air
