Hope
Long ago, I feared
For life, love, and future.
Every day I tried
To forgive and forget.
The past was my road ahead.
But the hourglass flows on,
Flipping up, flipping down.
The bad gives way,
Finally, to good.
And now, I can see
My life, love, and future,
Spreading before me.
The past is the road behind,
At last.
