5.20 am heartburn
Go away come back never
The bed feels foreign without her
Funny how you forget
How it feels like to sleep alone
My chest, your head
Feels like home

She shines in the sunlight, glows under moonlight
She is there infront of me
Everytime I close my eyes

Her porcelain skin
Stood out against my dark room
A pair of gentle eyes coyly staring at me
From a sea of pillows
Our bodies fit together so well
Like long lost puzzle pieces

You might not be here tomorrow
But what matters is tonight
Tucked under my sheets like you were born to
Talking about anything into the wee hours
As if we do not have anything the next day
In your far from perfect english

She wouldn’t but she did.
She shouldn’t but she did.
She couldn’t but she did.
She is stronger, far more than I could ever be.

Your english isnt good
Mine isn’t any better
But if we could just speak with our eyes
Then I think we could talk forever.
