Alone I sit, downtrodden

Oh **** this stupid sight

You were waving goodbye

I walked into the night

I came to a bench

The cold resonated

I gasped through my lips

Asphyxiated

What a calm fright

The moon, by clouds overtaken

An enchanting darkness

Don’t dare to stir me

A million nights I sit here now

Puzzled by  the blank distance

But really, all I’m searching for

Is sitting on this creaky bench
